Staff Sickness Absence Tracker with Bradford Factor

Keep track of staff sickness in one spreadsheet, with Bradford Factor scores that work themselves out. Works in Google Sheets AND Excel. Add one row per absence: first day off, last day off, the reason and whether it was self-certified or covered by a fit note. Working days lost fill in automatically (Monday to Friday, or type your own for part-time and shift staff). Each person's Bradford score is worked out over a rolling 52 weeks, and anyone who reaches one of your three review points is highlighted. Pregnancy related and disability related absences are left out of the score automatically, and you can leave out anything else you choose. It flags absences that need a fit note, return-to-work chats still to do and anyone off right now. There are two versions: UK (dd/mm/yyyy, fit notes, Statutory Sick Pay) and US (mm/dd/yyyy, doctor's notes, paid sick leave). One absence of 10 days scores 10, but ten single days score 1,000. It shows the short, frequent absences that are hardest for a small team to cover.
